The kindergarteners were excited to here that our Pope is in America this week for the first time! We learned who Pope Francis is and why he is so important to our Church. We even got to see him arrive at the airport and be greeted by the President. Our principle Miss Fiala was able to go visit Pope Francis in Philadelphia which is an amazing experience. We made sure to pray for her and everyone traveling to visit our Pope. What a wonderful event for the kindergarteners to learn about! We also learned a little more about the Pope and our faith when two seminarians came to visit our classroom. They taught us we are Catholic and how special it is to be Catholic. They will be visiting us for the first quarter. The kindergartners have been praying for the seminarians each day as they continue their journey to becoming a priest. Our faith is awesome and I'm glad my students get to learn about their faith in school! What a blessing!
