The kindergarteners have been busy this week. We had a blast celebrating the solar eclipse on Monday. We made the moon and sun with noodles, solar s'mores, and moon sand. They loved getting to make different things with the moon sand. We also learned about the Trinity. The students made slime to help. We used three ingredients to make one batch of silly putty which related to the Trinity. It helped remind us that there are three Persons in one God. We are off to a great start and they can't wait to see what we will be doing next.
Hello! Our names our Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Schlautman and this is our classroom website!
We will be updating this page as much as we can with classroom photos, new information, and activities we will be doing in school. We also included our newsletters and a link to the Journeys website the students will need for reading. We love being able to work with the students each year and we would love to share with you the excitement we have in kindergarten. It is an amazing year for the kids and they always grow so much. We are blessed to work with so many great families each year and can't wait to get the school year started with you! |
