One of my goals this year is to incorporate more STEM activities into the classroom. The kindergarteners first challenge was to build a gingerbread house out of toothpicks, gum drops and marshmallows. They had to make sure a certain gingerbread man could fit in their house. The students were so creative and did an awesome job. They figured out what worked and what they needed to fix on their house. We will do more activities like this throughout the year!
